The National Examination council (NECO) had released the Examination timetable for Senior Secondary certificate Examination-SSCE(Internal) 2022.

According to the examination timetable, The exam is expected to commence as from Monday, 27th of June,2022 till Friday, 12th of August,2022. 

Candidates who Applied for the Examination are to note that the Actual date and time of the Subjects that are not specified in the timetable will be fixed in by the council and will be communicated in due course. 

The board In Preparation for the Examination Adduced some significant notice to all Schools and Candidates.

The underlisted Instructions are what it’s expected of Schools and Candidates to take congnizant of: 

1: WHERE THE TIME ON THE QUESTION PAPER DIFFERS FROM THE TIME ON THIS TIMETABLE, THE TIME ON THE QUESTION PAPER SHOULD BE STRICTLY ADHERED TO.

2. FOR PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND AUTO MECHANICS PRACTICAL PAPER I; FRENCH, MUSIC AND ARABIC PAPER IV, THE SPECIFIC VENUES FOR THE EXAMINATION SHOULD BE CONFIRMED FROM NECO STATE OFFICES.

3. PRACTICAL IN SCIENCES, STENOGRAPHY, COMPUTER STUDIES AND DATA PROCESSING CAN BE IN SETS WHERE THE NUMBER OF CANDIDATES IS LARGE AND THE EQUIPMENT CANNOT GO ROUND.

4. VISUAL ARTS PAPER IV (CREATIVE DESIGN) SHOULD BE GIVEN TO CANDIDATES AT LEAST ONE WEEK BEFORE THE EXAMINATION DATE.

5. WELDING & FABRICATION, ENGINEERING CRAFT PRACTICE SHOULD BE GIVEN TO CANDIDATES AT LEAST THREE WEEKS BEFORE THE EXAMINATION DATE.

6. NIGERIAN LANGUAGES (HAUSA, IGBO, YORUBA, EDO, EFIK AND IBIBIO) INCLUDE LITERATURE ASPECT.

7. ALBINOS AND BLIND CANDIDATES ARE TO BE ALLOWED 30 EXTRA MINUTES AT THE END OF EACH SUBJECT.

8. BLIND CANDIDATES MUST MAKE USE OF THE NECO SUPPLIED OBR CUSTOMISED BRAILLE SHEET FOR THE EXAMINATION.

9. DYEING AND BLEACHING 1B, PHOTOGRAPH 1B, PAINTING AND DECORATION 1B, PRINTING CRAFT PRACTICE 1B, LEATHER GOODS

MANUFACTURING AND REPAIR 1B, SHOUD BE GIVEN TO CANDIDATES AT LEAST TWO WEEKS BEFORE THE  EXAMINATION DATE.

10. USE OF SCIENTIFIC CALCULATOR IS ALLOWED.

11. BRINGING INTO THE EXAMINATION HALL ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATION GADGETS (PROGRAMMABLE CALCULATORS, MOBILE PHONES, IPADS, TABLET, SMART WRIST WATCHES/GLASSESS/PENS ETC) IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

12. CANDIDATES WHO DO NOT SIT FOR PRACTICAL (PAPER 1) WILL NOT HAVE RESULT IN THE SUBJECT.

NOTICE ON UPLOADING OF CASS (03)

• As part of the requirements for the SSCE (Internal), all schools (centres) are to submit their candidates’ third year continuous assessment scores (CA3)
• NECO will announce the date when centres can upload the CA3 from the offline registration app.
• The offline application will not allow you to add CA3 for the candidates, before the announcement of the date for the submission of CA3.
• As soon as the window for the upload is open, schools (centres) should fill in the CA3 using the offline application. Once this is done, the entries should be synchronized to the online a online application.
• If a centre does not send the CA3 within the stipulated period, a penalty of 25,000 Naira must be paid online from the centre’s account before the CA3 can be uploaded.
• Results will not be released for schools (centres) that fail to upload the CA3 for their candidates.
